Western Europe
The Mills Family
After marrying in December, 1976, Frank and Karen began a lifetime of service in 1977 when they became members of the High School Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (now Student Venture). Together they served the Lord in the greater Chicago area with Campus Crusade for Christ.
The Lord called them to begin ministering to youth in the local church in 1980 and they moved to Gratiot Avenue (now Cornerstone) Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. Several years later, God called them to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where they continued as youth pastor at Calvary Bible Church. After 12 years in Kalamazoo and several overseas mission trips, Frank and Karen received a call from God to come to Kenya to serve with YMI and help with youth ministry there.
Today, after serving in the US and Africa, Frank and Karen are launching a new venture into Western Europe with Youth Ministry International partnering with Greater Europe Mission. In their 10th year with YMI, they are currently in language school living outside of Paris, France and have already begun training initiatives in two local churches south of Paris.
Frank and Karen Mills have two sons, Stephen and Chris, who both live in Orlando, Florida. Stephen works in the business world, and Chris is a public high school teacher and soccer coach. “We love and miss our guys!”
Dear Frank& Karen,
I look back and I see what you made me to be and currently am serving God in youth ministry and that the Lord has open more doors for me in many more places and it is through you what I am today that am able to say let us reach the Youth and transform the world. Love you Mills and iss you so much.
